Haida Black Bear - Shot on the islands of Haida Gwaii, Canada
The islands off the coast of British Columbia, Canada known by the indigenous population who inhabit them as Haida Gwaii are another world from the rest of the country. The islands are covered in ancient old growth forest and wreathed in a shroud of mystery. While hiking one of the many islands in Gwaii Hanaas National Park I came across the Haida Black Bear, the worlds largest of its kind. He starred into the river hunting fish despite an onlooker taking his photo!
