Tigers Nest Buddhist Temple - Shot in the Himalaya Kingdom of Bhutan
Bhutan is a special country I hold close to my heart. Its very difficult to visit the kingdom but for those who do will find an ancient Buddhist culture untouched by the modern world. The Tigers Nest is said to be where Guru Rinpoche, Bhutan's main deity rode a flying tiger to meditate and store a powerful weapon in this mountain refuge. While photographing the smell of juniper incense filled the air while monks could be heard chanting from nearby caves.
